Surgery this morning went smoothly, I’m awake an $Surgery this morning went smoothly, I’m awake and alert (for now)! 💖💖 💖I had surgery today to fix my blown out ACL & torn Meniscus ⛷, so that also involved harvesting the tendon from my quad 🦵and OH BOY! I thought I was prepared for the post op pain and I was not🥴, I was crying 😭so much in my dreary state that the nurse had to wake me up to help me manage. Unfortunately, they also discovered that the meniscus tear was more significant than the MRI showed & needed not just revision but actual repair🪡, so I’ll be on crutches for 3-4 weeks and non weight bearing on my left side for the same amount of time. {{swipe to see my crying/relieved face once the painkillers finally kicked in#}} 💖kyle has been an absolute godsend, Kroger didn’t fill my pain medicine until after my surgery today so he was able to pick that up, and got me some healthy tasty treats! This man knows I love raspberries more than flowers 🥰.
